Hindley Juniors (Of Wigan!) 0 - 5 Young Gate Under 9s (Of St.Helens!) Away match today for a change and the boys didnt let anyone down. Excellent performance from every player today from the off, being camped out in Hindleys half from the start. 2 quick goals scored from Freddie Dawoud and Sam Jackson settled any nerves to allow the boys to play some nice football. Free kicks from Dylan Eden and Harvey Wrigley rattling the woodwork before Harvey Wrigley (another freekick), Freddie Dawoud with a 2nd, (Superb skill in the build up) and Daniel Carr with the 5th made it 5-0 at half time. Second half continued in the same manner but credit to Hindley who had chances to score but Young Gates defence stayed strong. Tyler Mullen in goal saved superbly when called upon with Liam Bowen and Ryan OHanlon controlling play in and around the box with strong performances. Harry Woods was very unlucky not to be on the score sheet today with 2 cracking efforts, (1 off the post). The midfield created chance after chance with Arron Quinn, Freddie, Harvey, Dylan and Daniel unlucky not to score some 2nd half goals. Fantastic today lads and a pleasure to watch. keep it going!
