Hindu farmer beaten to death by BNP men in Lalmonirhat Two sons assaulted critically Our Correspondent, Lalmonirhat A Hindu farmer was beaten to death and his two sons were assaulted critically as they protested while their land was grabbing at kamlabari village of Aditmari upazila in Lalmonirhat. The Hindu farmer was died under treatment in Rangpur Medical College Hospital at around 4.30 am today Friday dawn, police and family members confirmed. The critical assaulted two sons Paresh Chandra Roy,20, and Madhab Chandra Roy,22, were under treatment in Rangpur Medical College Hospital. The killed victim was identified as Subol Chandra Roy,50, son of late Khasru Chandra Roy residence at Taluk Dulali village of Aditmari upazila. Police said, Kamlabari union unit BNP’s organizing secretary Gazi Miah and his gang were trying to grab one piece of cropland is owned by late Subol Chandra Roy Roy on Wednesday noon at Kamlabari village. Hearing the message late Subol Chandra Roy and his two sons rushed on the spot and made a hard protest to the gang. The Hindu farmer and his sons were received beaten mercilessly by the BNP leader and his gang on the spot, and they were injured critically. The injured Hindu farmer and his sons were admitted to Aditmari upazila health complex and they were referred to Rangpur Medical College Hospital on Wednesday night as their condition were deteriorated, police and hospital sources said. The killed victim’s wife Maloti Rani said,” My husband and our sons were beaten mercilessly tighten with a tree in front of me but I didn’t save them. They were tortured and tortured but nobody came to help them.” “BNP leader Gazi Miah tried to grab our cropland of 10 decimal for two more times in the last three months but he grabbed the land finally on Wednesday,” she said adding she is now very kindles losing her husband, and she doesn’t know what will be happened in the fate of their two sons who were under treatment in the medical.
