We expect each therapist to give 100% to every guest they treat, so that the guest will leave the room saying “That was one of the most wonderful sessions I have ever had”. You will be expected to give a range of treatments from relaxing to therapeutic and beautifying . You will design every session around each client’s needs, based upon your specific training. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1)Must be able to perform a 60,90 or 120 minute comprehensive therapy, using professional techniques; additional knowledge of other techniques is preferable. 2)Must have qualifications and experience in various treatment techniques including but not limited to therapeutic deep tissue. 3) Ensure a neat and clean appearance at all times and prior to arrival on duty including a) Hair if long, to be tied back b) Nails to be manicured and neat c) One item of jewellery to be worn and stud type only earrings allowed. 4) Do not discuss personal, business, political or religious issues with client 5) Keep an up to date record of client profile ., likes and dislikes, total sales, services and follow ups. 6) Must be able to provide guests with a thorough and knowledgeable professional treatment. 7) Demonstrate respect, sensitivity, and concern for guests needs with a professional and pleasant manner. 8) Maintain schedules and work hours as booked. 9) Set up the treatment room before and after each client visit; maintain neat and well-stocked room. 10) Complete and submit necessary paperwork in a timely manner to the supervisor in-charge. 11) To take part in any company training Qualifications Minimum completion of at least 200 hours training in massage/ cosmetic and or Spa treatments from an accredited cosmetology or Spa training facility. A minimum of 3 years experience working in a spa setting or private practice. Knowledge Skills and Abilities All employees must possess a positive, friendly attitude, exercising reason when serving Spa guests. Must be able and willing to learn other treatments and therapies as directed by Head Therapist. Able to implement as per the book the spa /treatment SOP’s as given by the head therapist/ director of spa. You need to possess an unwavering attention to detail, strong organizational skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be dependable and able to adjust to schedule changes, including cancellations and additions and willing to work with schedule flexibility. Must be willing to perform other job-related duties as directed.
