His eye is looking better but hes about to start a series of rabies shots and he has to get shots around his eye and finger that had puncture bites. The rabies vaccine will be repeated 4 more times and he will have to endure 1 more set of shots around the puncture wounds 1 more time after this. If there is a lesson to be learn...if your child is bit by an dog/animal.... file a report and have the animal quarantined. The dog was never vaccinated. Dont get a pet of the week b/c you think you want a pet because its cute... all baby animals are cute. If you get an animal... take care of it by getting its vaccinations and take time to train it. If you cant afford to do that then you dont need it...They should be a part of your family and taken care of like one. Not tossed out b/c you get tired of it or you cant deal with it when you dont have time to train it. Before I finished my rant... we just went through the shots and I cant express what that poor baby went through... it was horrible. We had to mark and take a picture so the next set can be in a different place :(
