His sleep study is tonight! Hallelujah! He has a rough night again last night. And his CO2 on his blood gas the morning was even higher than yesterday! :( the cardio team confirmed today that his pulmonary doc is thinking this is his bronchi suisse causing the issues. The sleep doc who used to be the head of the pulmonary team in Philadelphia, saw him and had some concerns. First being that he likely needs positive pressure but because of his NJ, the mask to do that would not seal. So he has to brainstorm as how to get him this pressure if he does indeed need it. He also mentioned that he is concerned he has progressive lung disease based on his picture and asked if he ever had a lung biopsy which he has not. He just mentioned this in passing so I dont know how seriously hes thinking about this. They havent given me any ideas on what to do about any of this yet. They are waiting for the sleep study results and then going from there. Praying they can find the answers to keep Toby HOME and breathing well!!!! ♡
