Historical Springfield Baptist Church Of Augusta Georgia 226th Anniversary Celebration-Pastor Hardy S. Bennings, III Presents in Concert Augusta native renowned Lyric Soprano Opera Vocalist (Soror) Bernice Hogan Hall The repertoire will include operatic arias; German lieder, French chansons, Art songs, Black Art songs spirituals, and music written by black composers. She is an exceptionally gifted artist, star and teacher. Ms. Hall has a Master of Arts Degree in Vocal Performance and she has done further study in Music Education. She studied with Metropolitan Opera Star, Mattiwilda Dobbs, Ms. Virginia Starr of the Houston Opera Company and other gifted teachers. Ms. Hall has performed with the Capitol City Opera Company; Americolor Opera Alliance where Ms. Sharon Willis is Founder/Artistic Director; Atlanta Opera Company; Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chorus, The Lyric Opera Company, Collegium Vocale where Mr. Kevin Hibbard is conductor, and at home with The Morris Museum of Art as well as for the seniors at the St. John Towers.
