#HistoricalKarachi: For many years, the Native Jetty bridge served as a launchpad for the dreams and wishes of the people of Karachi. It was a public space for the people of Karachi to catch the cool sea breeze with their families; feed the birds dish in the hopes of having their prayers answered. The Karachi port started its operations in 1854. A mole was constructed to connect city to the harbor. After few years Native Jetty Bridge was built. However, since the construction of Port Grand, the bridge has been boarded up and people can no longer enjoy the bridge as they used to. #karachi #shehri #nativejetty
