History created....Cyberjaya Mosque Platinum Rated.Green Building Index Mosque ...The First in the World. Yesterday evening, we had magrib and isyak prayers as well as reciting of Surah Yasin and doa. This is the soft launch of the completion of the Cyberjaya Mosque. The ground breaking ceremony was held in May 2013 and yesterday, after 20 months the masjid was completed. Thanks to all the Cyberview staff who are directly involved, contractors, architects, both federal and state government agencies, MAIS and JAIS. I was told this is the first mosque in the world to be platinum rated in terms of Green Building Index for a Mosque. The mosque will soon be covered on the third floor with solar panel generating electricity for its own use and excess sold to the grid.
