Hm... tonight, I couldnt land the double turns. My knee was too busted. But I could land them (well enough) the other night, when recording this video, with what I would think to be a shallower intention in mind - that of admiration of any boy witnessing the video. Maybe, though, what intent is immediately shallow and what intent is immediately deep changes with the extent of what that which is immediately inscribed in uncertainty can do; the deeper intent is the one that is more accessible via what is immediately inscribed in uncertainty, accessible because that intent is exposed later if ever in the process of attaining it, and deep via the same mechanism (see yesterdays post about relentlessness). In 2006, winning admiration with dance wasnt really an option, but bringing Chris Yee into my life was. At the moment, winning admiration with dance is an option, and bringing Chris Yee into my life - at least moreso than he already is - isnt. What seems a wild goal for a given action is so dependent on context.
