Hmm....Im really confused about how preslees neurology appointment went. He basically just evaluated her, and evaluated me...wondering how my support system was at home. Told me not to focus on how shell be in 5 years but how she would be by Christmas. He was quick to remind me that her brain MRI was on the severe side and hes had several retarded patients before...Im sure I was rude to this British doctor, especially when he asked me what religion I was, stating that the Pentecostals seem to all be anxious...he did however say that Preslee seems to have an excellent family, and that we need to take things one day at a time with her. He said she has good reflexes, but frowned when I told him she never cries. He was surprised that she is content and not having seizures. In fact he couldnt believe it. Not really sure anything got accomplished today with this appointment...but one things certain, this doctor hit a nerve with me...and i dont know how I feel about it.
