Hmm, So many things and people to be thankful for but a year ago in November, I laid on an operation table AWAKE while the doctors operated on my heart. A routine 45min operation was now 8 hours. Now I have experienced broken wrists, broken ankles, bruised ribs, but nothing like this. Being awake watching your heart on a monitor being torched to discontinue a valve was the most excruciating pain I have ever encountered which quickly turned into tears. But through the pain I closed my eyes and thought about what Christ had to go through for our sins, and almost immediately the pain was dull and peace and joy overcame me. Man Im thankful for that pain and thankful that God broke me down to build me up. I look back at intense workouts that I couldve passed out and died in, stupid mistakes committed and how I took grace and mercy for granted. I will forever be a work in progress but I know He is with me. And for that I am thankful everyday. Happy Thanksgiving friends and family God bless
