Hmmm. No status updates in a couple days? Im slacking, lol. But whats to write about - shall I elucidate at length about stepping barefoot in fresh, warm turkey poo this morning, while feeding and watering? Yes, it was exactly as disgusting as you imagine, and poultry crap has a certain...piquant aroma that the dogs find irresistible, but humans find vile. So I was fending off dogs who were trying to lick my (squishy, filthy, fragrant) toes, while making my way to the water spigot and attempting to hold my breath. E This scenario repeats itself pretty much every time I go in the pen, which OUGHT to have taught me never to go outside barefoot. I am beginning to believe the turkeys do this to me on purpose, as some sort of fowl joke. Get it? Huh, huh? Get it? Foul/fowl? Man, I crack myself up. And no, you cant really see many of the poops - the bastards like to flick sand around, so it dusts the poo with a perfect camouflage coating, just waiting for me to step in it. Also, I am essentially blind without my glasses. The perfect poop-joke patsy. So, thats how MY day has begun...hopefully yours will be free of anything like it. ;)
