Hmmmm. Buhari swept everyone off his foot at APC manifesto with words that addressed the actual needs of this country. Maybe. Just maybe he has the right mind and heart. The readiness to make Nigeria and Nigerians smile at last. Maybe he will not be a religious bigot that the christians fear might make them regret being born Nigerians. Maybe he means to make the economy steady and the Naira valuable without depleting the External Reserve. Maybe he will balance ethnic interests again and apeace potential militants and existing terrorists. Maybe he will make graduates happy they went to school with immediate employment without making the ones that opt for entrepreneurship regret not choosing the collar jobs. Maybe he will reduce Nigerias rate of import and increase export of finished goods and services. Maybe he will reduce this over-dependence on oil as the only (main) export product. Maybe he will build human capital investment for the future of the nation. Maybe he will put Politics back in its rightful position as a Tool in Democracy and not the other way round as our politicians practice. Maybe. Just Maybe. (Femi Aluko Joss)
