Hmmmm, Ive been away fm GB awhile. Love NE WI! I do beer brats for friends often. My Uncle Lukey taught me to slow grill the brats @ 275 for an hour while makin a brine (dill pickle juice, brn sgr, beer, onions, peppers .... etc) then add brats to rollin boil brine for 20min. Folks have told me Im wrong & brats shud b boiled in brine & touch the grill for looks! I say WHAT?!?! Last weekend, on food chnnl, a noted chef said, boil brats, then grill for looks#!! Is thislike bubblers??
