Ho Chi Minh City: Tearful but Magnificent - what a beautiful place this city is, and what atrocities took place. Visited the Reunification Palace (spectacular), War Remnants Museum (horrifyingly graphic images of the devastation of the war), multiple sights and sounds including the view from above. Fortunate enough to be able to celebrate in the new year with them such a buzz around the place and thanks to a few cocktails was very enjoyable. Shame it was so short, but I could see myself back here one day...still gotta do North Vietnam at least.
