Hockey Report part one: Played D-pair with Alaina, who was splendid at covering for me when I tripped over the blue lines twice. My goal was improving fast turns, and Im going to count it not met as my outside foot led when I consciously tried it. (See blue line bump.) I did catch a pass on my forehand and move it smoothly to the backhand to pass it to a teammate (not my goalie this time) so that is improvement. One roughing penalty. Part two - oh dear god, you put me in Center on the second of back-to-back games? New game goal: Not to humiliate very tired self. Get some face-offs where I wanted them and really short shifts. Skated a very defensive center because I had no jets left, merely dilapidated propellers. Did not trip on blue line. Im calling it a win.
