Hockey the hypocrite is unnecessarily increasing the budget deficit by borrowing $8.8 billion to boost the Reserve Banks capital reserves, even though the RBAs governor wanted to rebuild the capital reserves slowly over several years by not paying annual profits to govt. Borrowing $8.8 billion will cost you and me $300 million per year in interest. So why is Hockey the hypocrite doing it? So he can blame the $8.8 billion on Labor and then in the next few years he can get the RBA to pay it back to the govt as profits, thus making those years budget deficits seem much smaller. Its like stashing some money under the mattress so he can get it back again in a couple of years when he needs it. Meanwhile were paying $300 million in interest for NOTHING! What is the taxpayer getting for that $300 million? The audacity of Abbotts and Hockeys deceit and hypocrisy is astounding!
