Hola Luna Family! I have some news for your regarding our dear Luna. Since the very opening of Luna as a Latin Live Music spot, have we had problems with the residents association and the municipality, due to sound volume control and others. We are and have always been aware of this, and through the years, different measures have been taken. Nevertheless, nothing seems to satisfy the complainers. Three main problems have been brought to the light: 1. The volume of the music/bands is to loud. 2. The sound that "escapes" out of Luna, every time somebody is entering/leaving and 3. The people/costumers/friends that uses to go and sit/smoke outside the bar. As you can figure out, this is mainly an infrastructural problem, and also a social/cultural one. Is what we do, so different from other places in Copenhagen? Are we just unlucky to have sensitive neighbors? Or is it just a lack of economical resources to rearrange the physical place to fit our needs? However, this circumstances makes it impossible for Luna to have dj´s and/or live music. This is the reason for which I openly call for a meeting with all the Luna family, friends, bar stab, musicians and anybody else that feels they would like to know more and be a part of what is to come for our precious LUNA!
