Hola people ^_^ for all the OS lovers here is a Sweet feel good one shot by Mishika VruShan :3 which she wonder why din want to post _/\_ though its beautiful piece of work by her :D Palak SwaRon Uzma Zareen Prabha Ham Shreya VruShan It was her day. Actually not her, but their day. “The day” had finally come. After so long, after all they had been through, everything was actually falling on the right path. Finally. She had woken up on a very positive note, and she knew everything was going to be right day. “Sharon…” She heard her mother’s voice calling her. It was the time. Finally. For the last time, she checked if she looked fine or no. The blush was there on her cheeks, aptly applied, the kajal hadn’t smudged off her eyebrows, the eye shadow was subtly applied just to give her the perfect bridal makeover. Her beautiful hair had undergone a complete transformation and she wore the red-pink lehenga that Swayam had selected for her. “Coming mom...” She said and got up. Looking forward to having a great day and a great life ahead, she closed the door of the room behind her, one last time. “Ready? It’s a big day for you Sharon...” Her mom said. Sharon smiled at her mom. How difficult it had been for to convince her mom! It was one hell of a job. Initially her mom hadn’t approved of Swayam at all. But later she realized that Swayam was actually someone who respected Sharon as much as he loved her, and he was the perfect partner for her. “Sharon, I’m not going to be an emotional mother… Because I know this boy makes you happy.. You have chosen this, you’ve chosen the right person for yourself and I’m happy for you.” “Thanks mom.” She wrapped her arm around her mother’s until it struck to the two of them that they were running late for the wedding. Swayam and his family members had already arrived and the pandit ji was waiting for the bride. She walked down the stairs of her home, touching the railing and remembering the important incidents that had taken place in her life, related to Swayam. She walked, further to the mandap where Swayam was sitting. Dressed in a sherwani, he looked no less than her prince charming. He was exactly the way she wanted him to be, and he had never changed himself. Even today, he looked as amazing as ever, and she knew behind that simple curve were so many feelings which made him happy! She could see that behind his smile was a huge bag of happiness, ecstasy, of winning his love, and finally even he could be sure that they were never going to separate. She smiled at him reassuringly. Who could describe her happiness? Her emotions were no less! For her, these three years of her life were no less than a complete rollercoaster ride. From calling him a cheap stalker, to realizing that she could not even think of spending her life without him, it was a whirlwind of emotions. She still remembered the day she had revealed to him about her asthma… how could she be so stupid and not realize the magnitude of his unrequited love, then? But then, came the day when she finally realized that it was love ! Pure love that she felt for him! The ritual began when Sharon and Swayam exchanged flower garlands. The world’s best feeling crossed Sharon’s heart. She had never thought they would ever be in such a situation but she had made it a point to thank god for giving her Swayam. He was all she needed, and now here, she was getting married to him. Her father took her to the mandap and made her sit next to Swayam. Swayam smiled on looking at the beautiful girl sitting next to him. It was a matter of a few rituals and then she would be his, only his, for the next 60 years at least. The rituals began. Sharon’s father placed her hand over Swayam’s. Inspite of having spent so much time with him, his one touch still sent a current through her. His warm hand was over her cold one. She felt as if he was trying to relieve her tension, his touch sent a feeling of warmth, glee through her. She felt so comfortable. Sara tied her dupatta to Swayam’s sherwani. They stood up for taking the 7 rounds for the vows. The bride and the groom took the first step of the seven vows to pledge that they would provide a prospered living for the household or the family that they would look after and avoid those that might hinder their healthy living. During the second step of the seven rounds, the bride and the groom promised that they would develop their physical, mental and spiritual powers in order to lead a lifestyle that would be healthy. During the third vow, they promised to earn a living and increase by righteous and proper means, so that their materialistic wealth increases manifold. While taking the fourth vow, Swayam and Sharon pledged to acquire knowledge, happiness and harmony by mutual love, respect, understanding and faith. The fifth vow was taken to expand their heredity by having children, for whom, they would be responsible. They also prayed to be blessed with healthy, honest and brave children. While taking the sixth step around the sacred fire, they prayed for self-control of the mind, body and soul and longevity of their marital relationship. When the bride and the groom take the seventh and the last vow, they promise that they would be true and loyal to each other and would remain companions and best of friends for the lifetime. With these 7 vows, Swayam and Sharon promised to be there for each other all the time, to rub off the negativity, to never let the other one feel bad about anything. They could never be friends. Friendship wasn’t an emotion that they shared. They were much more than that…Love, pure love was the only emotion between them and Sharon knew that no matter what, this love was going to stay with her forever. Finally, Swayam tied the mangalsutra around her. His ultimate promise to keep her guarded with him, to protect her from all the evils, and to be with her in all her ups and downs. He put the sindoor on her forehead as a happy teenager exclaimed yay inside her. Finally it was done. All the rituals, all the processions, everything had come to an end, and they were finally married. He was not less happy, he was happy about finally coming to that stage of their relationship where they could promise to each other about being there for the rest of their lives. They heard the priest saying that the wedding had culminated. And that they were husband-wife now. A happy Sharon looked at him, while Swayam stared at her with the same intensity and ecstasy. It was no more Sharon Rai Prakash for him, she was Sharon Swayam Shekhawat. Officially.
