Hold the Candle, Draw the Bow - Polo Clinic Max Secunda Style From Elizabeth Hedley, Polo Development LLC County Line Polo Club, in Kyle, TX hosted an all day clinic taught by veteran polo player and British Open Finalist Max Secunda who recently was named Head Coach of BG Polo & Equestrian in Vero Beach. Max flew in from Florida to teach 2 groups, intermediates and advanced students in Seth Brays beautiful arena located just outside Austin. My father used to tell me to hold the mallet upright, like a candle, then draw it back like a bow, Max suggested to the first group of students who were working on their offside shot fundamentals.
