Holden Hill police have concluded a traffic operation at the St. Agnes waste depot, after complaints regarding trailers and unsecure loads were made to police. 24 defects were issued by police today, 17 of which were for trailers. 15 expiation notices were also issued, which were for load restraint breaches and illegible number plates on trailers. Around 1300 cars entered the dump today, and police advise all motorists that if you are going to tow a trailer that hasn’t been used in a while, make sure it is roadworthy, registered and it is appropriate for the load you’re towing.
