Holiday Cash Karaoke Contest Qualifying Dates and Locations - Top Performer of each night Qualifies for Final Vertigo - Mondays Oct. 28, Nov. 4, 11, 18, 25, Dec. 2, 9 Edge Of Town - Tuesdays Oct.29, Oct. 31, Nov. 5, 12, 19, 26, Dec. 3, 10 Vertigo - Thursdays Nov. 7, 14, 21, Dec. 5, 12 Final Location & Date Badlands - Saturday -December 14, 2013 Rules Judging The top singer at each of the qualifying dates will automatically qualify to compete in the finals on December 16, 2013. All singers will receive 1/4 (Contest Loyalty Points) of a point for each of the qualifying shows that they attend. These points are cumulative and will be added on to their score in the final. All contests are judged on a scale of 1-10 with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest. The categories are as follows: Vocal Ability: How good is the Contestants voice when singing their contest song. Technical Ability: How well does the Contestant know the song theyre singing. Performance: Contestants should engage the audience not just read the lyrics from the screen. Crowd Participation: This category of scoring will be used as a tie breaker. Scores from each category will be added together along with the Contest Loyalty Points for an overall score. The contestant with the highest cumulative score will win 1st Place. The Contestant with the second highest cumulative score will win 2nd Place and the contestant with the third highest cumulative score will win 3rd Place. Contestant Loyalty Winner The contestant with the highest total of Contestant Loyalty Points will also win a prize. This person does not have to be a contest finalist. Judges will be provided by Stars N Bars Music and each of the venues. All decisions of Stars N Bars Music and the Management of the venues are final. Over $1,000 in Cash and Prizes!
