Hollywood: A Superstructure for Racism-White Supremacy (Exodus Gods and Kings) With the up coming release of the film Exodus; Gods and Kings, there a clear contrast between what history wss (according to Ridley Scott), and what history id indeed verifiable. White people being depicted in positions of superiority in Egypt while people of color are consistently being portrayed as slaves and servants---a theme that has been consistent since the dawning of American film. The epitome of cinematic colonialism. As Hollywood continues its centuries-long Exodus into transforming Alkebulani/ African history--through a myst of cinematography and theater--into more inaccurate and unrecognizable depiction of who people of color were/ are in recorded history, at lease one question should be at the forefront of the mind of the conscious and astute; To what end(s) does such a lengthy crusade to psychologically mislead and misdirect masses of different people, cultures; through the use of film ultimately serve if not to--at a minimum--project a true (but false) sense of racial power and/ or superiority? What do you think about Hollywoods continued efforts to diminish who black people were his historically? Is it deliberate?
