Hollywood’s Night/Morning Report: All depends on when you get time to read it. Earlier today I was added on a photo and was asked “What is going on with this?!” Shortly after that one the same picture showed up on a totally different page, again with my name attached. No that was not all either. By 1500 I had been attached to this picture 7 times, from all over the world/bases and five messages asking me if I was going to comment on the new evil picture that is flying around fb breaking the cyber land speed record! Well I have read pretty much everything that has been placed under this picture. Negative/positive/frustration/completely pissed/ashamed/embarrassed/confused…..hell all over map! So yes people, you know I will have to put in my thoughts too…. The other day on my “Hollywood’s Thankful Report” one of the things that I had put down that I was thankful for was that there were: No cell phone cameras to capture any of my “full retard moments. Everyone knows you don’t go full retard.” But let’s be honest, we have ALL have had some retard moments so don’t say or act like you have not! There are so many things that have added to this issue of momentary failure it not even funny. The military decided to let SrA make SSgt after being in for 2 years, they stopped REALLY screening for the job, supervisors wanted to be everyone’s buddy so even the dum-dums got 5’s when they really should have got a 2, instructors got black ropes that were lucky to even have a black strap and for sure didn’t know how to get above 50% in a duty dorm, trainers were told to not be so mean, students were told they could sit at the snake pit, eat food and not to work more than 8 hours, it was not a big deal to go through parade and get -3 (hell I saw a rookie get -12 in just ONE parade by himself and he walked into the tunnel like there was nothing wrong), trainers laughed with their students, students got their campaign hat during their post faze so “they won’t stick out.”…….I could keep going with all the issues that added to the down fall of the dynasty but like I said there are so many it is sickening! The bottom line is this: They took a picture that 99% of us wouldn’t even think about taking. The picture is old, they were part of the dynasty downfall that started in 2012, they got what they deserved, they are out of our brother/sisterhood and the Air Force AND THEY ARE IN THE PAST AND BEHIND US! Every Dynasty goes through a rebuilding faze. Rome was rebuilt right? Well let me tell you this. In the past year I have witnessed the rebuilding of our ROME! MTI’s are rebuilding our city, are making progress to get back to where we once were as Instructors. Let’s not be like the idiots burning their city down and bringing down businesses all because a kid that should have been at home doing homework and preparing himself for a job or an education got killed because he was a hoodrat. Instead, let’s be glad Karma did her job like she always does. Let’s mentor the young instructors NOW on how we did it, how we were professional at all times, how we stood for our code, how the Airmen wanted to be like us not sleep with us, how we were people they feared and respected at the same time. You would be shocked at how many students stop me when I’m on base and ask me questions or for some help. Man if I was able to walk their dorms………Old Hats, lets mentor our replacements like we use to. Rookies learn how to listen for a year with your mouth shut and some skin made of titanium and stop getting butt hurt when we are trying to help. Much Love People! NOW DANCE!
