Holy Kitsch! landlords are Australians so our existence helps their living and their money goes into the community. Our solicitor also employs people at correct pay and their money returns to the community. The landlord pays rates so that helps Council. Holy Kitsch! lives in the inner city and shops largely locally. All this yet we pay enormous tax! Why not internet companies? We must pay tax on the net as well as we own a retail store. Foreign and some local internet based companies contribute no money to Australia. Not saying they should not exist they just should pay tax! It is not fair, then we could pay less tax. When we employ someone we pay correctly and they pay tax and spend their money in the community. Retail stores should hardly have to pay tax given our huge contribution.
