Holy Mother of Pearl, I like this. I like this SO much - I just want to sit here and click the Like/Unlike button for a little while as an expression of how much I really, really LIKE this. I cannot express how much I truly DESPISE the whole Selfie < Gag - that WORD > culture. In my house, weve made an effort to concentrate on selfless, not selfish. Ive been told Im lucky that my kids are the way they are. Riiiiight. Luck is the way to make the next generation of people. {Now removing tongue from cheek.] We can look at women who have done great things and call them beautiful human beings, because they are. Not because of the lipstick they chose and the clothes they wear - because they gave of themselves to others. I believe (and after this, Ill get off my soapbox and give it to someone else) that ALL of the little girls Ive met (some now 93 years old) that believe themselves to be beautiful -- are the ones who stepped outside of themselves for another human being. They look in the mirror and they are proud of what theyve done and who they are. And the world that views them agrees.
