Ps. 119:105 says that the Word is a lamp unto our feet, and a light unto our path...And Prov. 20:27 says that the spirit of a man is the candle of the Lord. These simply mean that God uses His Word in our spirit to enlighten, direct, lead, instruct, and guide us in life. Light and darkness cannot coexist in the same place...when one comes, the other must leave. When we take the time to pray IN the spirit, He sheds light into every dark place we encounter. Along with that light comes clarity, direction, boldness, and peace..its His purpose.
