Holy buckets! I sing in a concert about Harvey Milk tonight and am preaching on the Gospel from John about the man blind from birth tomorrow! As I sat down to write this sermon, I realized the connection between Harvey and the hatred and death he received, Fred Phelps and the hatred he gave and received, and the man born blind, or more directly, the people who didnt believe that the man born blind could be cured. I daresay this sermon might be a barn burner. And I think we might only have a handful of folks for church. Anyone want to come with me to Webster tomorrow??
