Holy cow.....The dam broke!!! As I was finishing my first post a gent rolled up with not 1 but 2 bikes on his trailer, another came by for a service, another to make an appointment for next week, Couple more calls, and emails to set up dyno appointments. Guess the hangover is all better! First up was this beutiful Jackpot. I had spoken to the owner over the weekend. He has been going to different shops trying to solve a high speed performance issue. Last place pulled off his VFC, and wanted 5 hours diag with no real solution. It would run like a champ until he did a WOT run into tripple digits. . Then it would start missing, and bucking for a while, and eventually start running right. Set the dyno up with a 15% load, and wacked the throttle . Sure enough as I got to 115 it started running bad. Nope your wrong.....Had plenty of fuel pressure. Thats what I thought to. Having been down this road before. I pulled the coils, and there it was. Trigger lead to the front cyl was getting pinched between the intake, and the conector. Repair the wire, install a spacer, and go at it again. Runs like a top. Figured while it was up there I might as well get it dialed in. So here is where we ended up......
