Homabay Governor, Cyprian Awiti, has asked former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, and his rowdy supporters to stop political bickering and give their elected leaders time to deliver on development projects. Awiti who is one of the best performing Governors in Luo Nyanza said elections are over and it is time to shift focus to agendas that will improve resident’s living standards. Awiti said Raila Odinga has made the community suffer for a long time and it is time to be out of Odinga’s bondage and grow socially and economically. He also urged Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) supporters to support the Government of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto saying the region can only develop from being in the Government. Awiti was speaking during the burial of Mama Mary Goro at Lusi Village, North Uyoma ward in Siaya County.
