Home News Bluebag News Nov 24, 2014 by Clinton Randall - WILLIS PLEADS GUILTY IN VEHICLE ARSON CASE GREENVILLE – Joshua Willis, 18, of Greenville. Willis entered a guilty plea to four counts of Arson, fourth degree felonies, Friday morning in the Darke County Common Pleas Court. Willis, along with co-defendant 34-year-old Lowell “Bill” Bowers, were indicted on eight counts of Arson following an investigation of overnight vehicle fires in July by the Greenville Police Department. As part of a plea bargain with the prosecution, four counts of Arson were dismissed if Willis agreed to plead to the other four. He faces a maximum of 6 years and a $20,000 fine at the Jan. 16, 2015 sentencing hearing. He was granted an own recognizance (OR) bond pending sentencing. Bowers’ case is still ongoing.
