This is an eclectic form of body therapy borrowing from traditions of Japan, Central Asia, Russia, as well as the West. This hands-on workshop focuses on a three-dimensional approach to the techniques of touch (1) massage, (2) stretching and (3) rocking. The course material also gives the student the means and the option to do a full-body treatment for more than 60 minutes. This additional time allows the client to receive a more thorough treatment in which pain is more diminished and flexibility is greatly improved. Participants will learn ways of doing massage while incorporating massage strokes with varying speeds, as well as massage strokes from different angles. Students will learn to include stretching and rocking techniques in their treatments.
