To avoid such skin issues it is advisable to cleanse pores regularly and minimise them so that they don’t attract dirt and grime. Cleanse pores at least twice a week, take a coin sized mild cleanser and lather your skin. Splash ample water to swipe away the excess oil and don’t forget to seal them after cleansing. We suggest you how to minimise skin pores with easy remedies. Tip1: Tomato is a delicious ingredient but when applied on skin it minimises the appearance of large open pores. Take a slice of tomato and rub on your skin. Leave the tomato pulp and juice on your skin for 20 minutes and wash with plain water. The toning agent of tomato will tighten the pores. You can also mix tomato juice in calamine and sandalwood powder or any other face pack to reduce the opening of pores. Tip 2: Take a slice of ripe papaya and mash it either with folk or in blender. Apply the mixture on face and leave it for 20 minutes. Rinse your face with plain water. Papaya not only minimises the large pores but also make your skin smooth and soft. Tip 3: Before applying makeup, make sure you close the pores. Otherwise makeup particles will make their space inside open pores. Gently dab cotton soaked in toner all over your face especially on forehead, nose, cheeks and chin. To make homemade toner boil hand full of rose petals in water. Don’t boil the petals but simmer them till they leave their colour. Let the mixture cool down and squeeze the petals. Use the fresh toner instantly or store in a bottle at cold place. For mint and lemon toner, bring water to boil and add ¼ cup of lemon peel, ¼ cup grapefruit peel and one cup of mint leaves. Remove the solution from the heat and strain the liquid once it is cool down. Store in a cool place like refrigerator and splash this exotic liquid to refresh your skin. Tip 4: Egg white is a great skin tightener that also makes your skin look glowing. Beat an egg white and mix a few drops of lemon juice and a pinch of turmeric. Apply on face and wash once it is dried. Use lukewarm water to clean the mask and then splash cold water to seal the pores. Tip 5: Add lemon juice, rose water and yogurt in gram flour or oatmeal and make a paste. Apply on face and let it dry. Wash with water and pat dry. Gram flour and oatmeal both have toning properties that minimises the pores.
