Home from another very successful weekend! Thanks to everyone on the team!!! Teamwork makes the dream work! I had two first timers at Starter that had a very successful first show! Morgan & Logan jumped around so well Logan thought that the little white fence was meant to be jumped, although they didnt finish the dressage test how they had wanted the jumping phases were great!! Maddy & Dylan rocked around and made it look easy finishing in 5th! At BN Maura & Artie had another great outing and are geared up for Heritage in late October. The Luksan girls represented well with Mariah taking home the blue on Cinder and Maitland the yellow on Grady #blueandyellow! Sammy & Mon Cherie had another fun run winning a pretty red ribbon. Olivia & Hannah rocked the novice, overall each of her phases is steadily improving and she finished third in the jr novice!!! At training Lily & Boo put in two more double clear jumping rounds and Claire & Emma are clicking together more each outing rounding out their final fourth qualifier for the T3D at midsouth! Roxhan jumped around like a pro with am unfortunate questionable 20 when she spooked at the announcers stand on xc, but all in all was jumping great and had a steady SJ round with only one rail. The meatloaf stepped up with a 27 in dressage and two double clear jump rounds to finish Reserve Champ in the Area IV Training Championship! The prelim girls raked in some more pretty ribbons with Emily clinching her final CCI* qualifier finishing in 4th in the Prelim Championship division and Sammy & Stella winning the championship along with my best friend Meaghans Flying Piglet Memorial Award in memory of her awesome piggy for the best placed Jr rider! Great friends, camaraderie, laughs, stories and memories made to last a lifetime. Cant believe 15 years ago I came to Otter Creek and havent missed a show since. Looking forward to another fantastic 15 years and more! Thanks to my great team and sponsors for everything! Love this sport and you all!
