Homecare Worker – Bury St.Edmunds Are you kind, reliable, committed and have a passion to help others? If so then we would like to hear from you, as we are recruiting in your local area to provide care and support to people living in their own homes. We will offer you • Free local training and qualifications such as diploma levels 2 & 3 • Good rates of pay + mileage and travel allowance • Paid for DBS check • Free Uniforms and PPE • 28 days paid holiday Job summary You will be responsible for providing care and support to service users. This may include personal care, meal preparation, medication assistance, escorting service users to appointments and domestic duties. Skills and experience • Full driving licence and have access to your own transport is preferred. • Previous experience working within homecare is desirable but full training and support will be given. • Excellent planning and organisational skills • Flexible approach to work and the ability to manage, prioritise and work to deadlines • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal • Demonstrate an ability to ensure confidentiality • Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team • Excellent attendance and time keeping record • The ability to develop good and effective relationships with all aspects of the business internally and externally Job role • Full and part time positions available with flexible working patterns, GUARANTEED hours including weekdays, evenings and weekends • Level 2 health and social care diploma / apprenticeship framework is desirable but not essential as an opportunity to undertake this course will be available Company information Manorcourt Care (part of the Healthcare Homes Group) provides care and support appropriate to the needs of each individual, in a friendly, warm and supportive atmosphere.
