Homework... Well at least I learned something. Intrinsic and extrinsic motivation have an important, obvious, similarity that I almost missed. While intrinsic motivation comes from within and extrinsic motivation from reward or praise, both forms of motivation can be equally strong. A person doing something for the feeling they get from it can be just as motivated as someone else who will receive a million dollars for doing it.
