Hon/Captain Faiz Muhammad, an ace wrestler and a legend of Pakistan, borne 23 September 1937, died on 29 October 2014 at Gujranwala. He won three consecutive Gold medals in 1962, 66, 70 common wealth Games, Asian Gold Medalist, Pakistan Champion in different weight categories from 1957 to 1984. Represented Pakistan in three Olympic games in the 1956 Summer Olympics, in the 1960 Summer Olympics, and in the 1964 Summer Olympics. He was awarded Presidential award and was flag bearer in SAF games. An international referee and coached Pakistan team. A very fine human being and an elegant personality. Did we know that this legend has left us. Did our media know this, Pakistan Sports Board has put his pic in the Hall of Fame but has someone kept track of this great hero that how he spent his last days and how family is living. They need our help. I think nation need to think it over again and again. Lets see after this how many would still come forward to acknowledge our great hero. Allah Bless the Departed Soul. Aameen.
