Honb’le Chief Election Commissioner, July 15, 2013 Nirvachan Bhawan, Sansad Marg, New Delhi Sub: Shri Narendera Modi has no right to remain as MLA, as per latest Supreme court Ruling Honb’le Sir, ‘Modi’s statement to Reuters ,appeared different dailies is against our constitution.. He is law breaker from the face value of his statement, and law breaker may not be law maker as per latest ruling of Honj;le Supreme Court.. We request your honor to verify hisd statement thoroughly. It is highly deplorable. It seems that he does not have faith in Indian constitution. Our constitution does not have any clause for Hindu Nationality. every Indian is Indian. Nationality has nothing to do with religious faith, whether he is Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Christian or even an atheist. Every citizen of India has equal rights and is free to choose & follow his religion of his choice. Even Holy Quran says “There is no compulsion in following religion”. It further says “You follow your religion and let me follow mine”. It is duty of the government to protect a citizen’s life, property and give justice irrespective of his religious faith. There no such thing as a Hindu nationalist or Muslim Nationalist. Shri Modi’s claim to be a Hindu Nationalist is a mockery of our constitution. He may not give justice to other than Hindu. Such a person has no right to .represent voters in assembgly or Parpiament. He treats the life of a Muslim worse than a dog. He has no right to continue as MLA, and should debarred from contesting further elections. I have the right to say that Indian Muslims are more Indian than any other Indian, since they passed the acid test after the unfortunate partition of our beloved motherland and remained Indian out of choice. For example, services of my father, a District Level Officer at Faizabad was terminated without any reason. He remained unemployed for nine months and it was difficult for him to arrange two time meals for his family. His employment was restored after nine. But he had to start from scratch. My mother was upset and wanted to migrate to Pakistan in search of better opportunities. But my father preferred to stay back with the reason that the turmoil was a temporary phase and things will return to normal when the dust of partition has settled down. He was deadly against Pakistan, since its foundation was laid over hatred and violence. Yet the loyalty of Muslims remains doubtful. It is plain and simple example. Otherwise, history is thye witness for the price Muslims paid to protect their Indian citizebship It may be appreciated that State can control a riot, if it has the will and determination. Take the example of West Bengal and Bihar. No communal riot has been reported in these states, during the communist regime in West Bengal and during the rule of Laloo Prasad/ Nitish Kumar in Bihar. How come these two states were able to control the communal hatred and the riots? Inspired by previous record of mishandling of riots, Modi, issued an OGL (Open General License) to kill Muslims in Gujarat. He will worse.if allowed to contest election. After tasting blood of success over communal issue in Gujarat, now Modi is trying to play communal card in forthcoming general elections. With warm regards Thanking you.
