Honest assessment: At my age, in this economy and in this job environment, the chances that I will ever hold a meaningful job again that takes advantage of my intelligence, talent, skills and experience are moot. After 3 years unemployed, I do not collect any kind of assistance and live off the wages of my spouse. I have become one of the invisible of this society. I pursue artistic pursuits in music and art but none of these allow me to make a living, while I spend significant time assisting my elderly mother and my disabled sister (odd jobs and chores, chauffeuring, etc). This is my life.
