Honestly, I have just about had it with this “Politically - TopicsExpress

Honestly, I have just about had it with this “Politically Correct” BULLSHIT. I was reading a post on DMLDaily entitled “WAR ON CHRISTMAS, are you seeing it?” wherein this gal in California relayed her experience at TARGET the other day. She said “Merry Christmas” to the cashier, and the cashier responded with “Happy Holidays”. A conversation ensued thereafter, and the cashier told the customer that she was only ALLOWED to say “Happy Holidays” or else she would LOSE HER JOB! I was stunned by this so I messaged my sister who used to work at Target to inquire if this was in fact Target’s policy. This was my sister’s response: Not back then, but in the last 2-3 years, that IS the policy being adopted. Didnt you hear about that a few years ago...you can thank the atheists for that one. They claimed not everyone believes in Christ...therefore CHRISTmas is offensive!!! Target adopted the Happy Holiday greeting as a result! Pathetic , I know. Christians far outweigh atheists by a WIDE margin, but whos got the power?? When I think about the THOUSANDS of dollars I have spent with Target not only personally over the years but also for my business when I owned my kids’ cooking school, it REALLY PISSES ME OFF! If Target does not want to celebrate Christmas, WHY are they decorated for it, luring in shoppers with gift giving ideas and having Christmas commercials on TV? DAMN HYPOCRITES! If Target does not want to celebrate Christmas, they should just keep business as usual -- no sales, no decorations, no nothing! WHY celebrate something they do not believe in? Christmas is the season that has historically been dedicated to the commemoration of Christs birth...PERIOD! I do not care what you call it or how you try to get around it, bottom line is, if you celebrate it, you ARE celebrating CHRISTMAS! Would you show up at a party with a gift, eat the big feast that has been prepared, take part in all of the festivities, and then say “I know its your birthday but Im not celebrating it. Im just going to call it a holiday and pretend it has nothing to do with you?” Sound stupid? Touché. Evidently Wal-Mart & CVS have the same policy along with many other businesses I would imagine. I shared all of this with Dennis Michael Lynch, who is a native New Yorker & controversial documentary filmmaker. I LOVE THIS GUY! Dennis is heading out to TARGET with camera in hand! WAY TO GO DENNIS! I cannot wait to see the footage. A friend of mine shared the video below with me which is AWESOME so I am sharing with all of you who feel as strongly about this as I do. MERRY CHRISTMAS ;)
