Honey, what do you want for dinner tonight? Ill fix whatever you want, (hoping for some brownie points, since Ive spent a little too much money shopping for the wedding). His response: grilled hamburger steak with onions, fried squash, homegrown tomatoes with homemade biscuits (something I simply do not do anymore), fresh green beans from the garden (just not our garden), & banana nut bread for dessert. So....I did all that and then commented I was obviously vying for wife of the year. His response: what, THIS? Nah! It would take much more than this to win wife of the year. Oh well, on the flip side, were all going to be dressed fabulously, and the rehearsal dinner, and wedding is going to be spectacular!!! I sure hope he lets me out of the doghouse before the 18th. HA!
