Honour Abuja Declaration on health, govt urged: Stakeholders in the health sector have implored the government to fulfil its obligation of allocating at least 15 percent of its budget to health in line with the Abuja Declaration on health spending. National AIDS Council board chairperson, David Mutambara, and Professor Simbarashe Rusakaniko from the University of Zimbabwe Department of Community Medicine, noted that careful consideration should be taken when stakeholders embark on consultations so that the allocation awarded to the health sector will reflect the government’s commitment to provide quality healthcare to the citizens.
