Honoured to have had the chance to visit with Rinelle Harper and her family before heading up North. Rinelle has unbelievable strength and courage. I had the chance to speak with her and visit with her mom and family. We talked about the ongoing support from the community, visits to Red Sucker Lake and Garden Hill, the significant media attention and the fact that Rinelle cant wait to get back to school and sports. Rinelle reminds all of us of the need to support survivors, to support one another and to wait no longer to end violence against Indigenous women and all women.
