Honoured today to have returned to work as the State Member for Niddrie. Im looking forward to getting on with the job of delivering for our community, first and foremost Labor’s $10 million commitment to redevelop Essendon Keilor College. I said in my inaugural speech 3 years ago that my immediate task was the implementation of the Essendon Keilor College master plan and now I’m going to turn this vision into reality because “education” is my number 1 priority. I want to take this opportunity to thank my staff and volunteers for their efforts not only during the course of the campaign but over the past 3 years. We had a great celebration at the Buckley Park Bowls Club on Saturday night. Finally, I acknowledge the hard work and effort of all the candidates that stood for the seat of Niddrie in last Saturday’s election.
