Hoover Police needs your help. Last Friday September 5th at approximately 9:23 AM a robbery occurred on Conley Road in Hoover. The victim stated he cashed a check at a bank on Montgomery Highway and drove to a family member’s residence on Conley Road. As he was exiting his vehicle, a blue car pulled into the driveway behind him. A black male in his 20’s about 5’7”/150 lbs with dreadlocks, exited the vehicle and approached the victim with a silver handgun. He demanded the victim’s money and the victim complied. The male returned to his vehicle and left the area. At approximately 7:17 PM, a second robbery occurred on Lake Forest Circle. The victim in this case is a pizza delivery driver. The suspect was a black male wearing a red bandana covering his hair. The suspect approached the victim with a silver handgun and demanded money. The vehicle description is possibly a light blue Mercury Grand Marquis with “light blue” colored headlights. If you know anything about these cases you are urged to contact Hoover PD Sgt.
