Hope its ok to ask, but has anyone ever had difficulty with passport photos. My son needs a new passport this year, and we spent over half an hour trying to firstly coax him into not covering his face, and then he just laughed all the way through. We managed to get one where he is looking at the camera and has his mouth closed but is def smiling. I called up the passport office and have asked if I put in a covering letter whether it would be accepted. The person said that it might but would depend on the views of the person opening the letter. I just wondered whether anyone has had any similar experience. (My son is 15, and has a diagnosis of autism and learning difficulties) Thank you
