Hope its okay to post this here! My small re purposing project for the morning: Step one, 100 year old barn wood window. Step two, partitioning mat samples for float mounting itty bitty cross-stitch patterns. Step three, aluminum barrier lining along the back, with 3/16th inch acid free foamcore backing to stabilize, held with 1/8 inch offset brackets. 8x9 mats, into a 2x3 pane ration = awesome new vintaged shadowbox. (it hurt my heart to not update the glass, but this was keeping it as authentic as possible, right down to the bullet hole in the bottom right hand corner!) - Cant wait to do one for myself, and not someone else.
