Hope my friends have enjoyed the severely limited facebook political commentary as I move it to our radio show page. I do have an honest inquiry for my friends who self-identify as more liberal. Are you disappointed in Obama? He was recently shown again to have very little control over his own bureaucracy. Please dont respond with bashing Republicans -- yes, they are as despicable oftentimes and I often talk about that. I am talking about things for which Obama has complete control. He said unequivocally that the CIA doesnt spy on Congress and we now know they do -- Obama is silent. He said there is not a single smidgeon of evidence that the IRS was acting in a biased manor, and even the emails that havent disappeared show otherwise -- Obama is silent. He ran on stopping illegal warmaking yet conservative estimates put civilian casualties from his drone strikes in the multiple thousands. He has interposed himself personally into racially charged cases with a beer summit and a hypothetical son looking like Trayvon, but the daily violence in Chicago, more frightening alleged crimes involving other races, and American soldiers held in foreign prisons are met with silence. He ran on a promise to be the most transparent administration in history but even liberal news outlets are screaming that the press has never been more restricted under any presidency. He was touted as the great uniter, but has been the most divisive in history -- as the first President instructing his Congressional leadership to go it alone and not even attempt to consult the other side in items such as health care, energy, and the budget. These dont even touch upon missteps where he can blame someone else but shouldnt. What say you self-defined liberals? Is it time to put principle ahead of party or do you hate Republicans that much to put aside rational thought and the future of your country?
