Hope yall will take a few minutes to watch this. We as parents and grandparents need to stand up and be heard on this one. Yall know I dont like controversy but this reminds me of when we were in school and they took prayer out of school, I use to wonder how that could be with all the Christians in our Country and yet just a few people were allowed to control whether we could pray in school or not. I hope our kids will one day look back at this and say that we stood up for them and their right to read the Bible and pray anywhere and everywhere. It only takes a spark to get a fire going so if we all pull together on this we can change the way the schools think about the Bible and prayer in schools. We have to let our kids to go to school because it is mandatory unless you home school them. If you dont send them there are consequences and if you do send them they cant even sit quietly and read their Bible without getting in trouble. What is wrong with this picture? Sometimes I can hear my Mama voicing her opinion and I believe she would have a lot to say about this subject. I carried my Bible to school in high school and yes, I got picked on but either the teachers turned their heads and pretended not to see it or they knew my Mama! I hope and pray that we can get prayer and the time to read Bibles back in school before there is another tragedy in our schools like Columbine and all the schools that had so much devastation because of others with guns. Please pray for our kids, the teachers and all those who are a part of the school system. The school system is evidently playing follow the leader because it is starting to be as bad as our government. When I lived in SC and we first got the lottery there, it was promoted that it would benefit the schools...well, 2 years later the schools had not received any money from it. Dont be deceived into thinking that any of the money anywhere from the lottery will be helping your kids in school. Instead it is teaching them that if they play the lottery that they have a chance to hit it big and never have to work again...wrong. Lets start thinking about our children because they are the future of tomorrow and I pray they will have the knowledge that only God can give them to run our Country. I remember my Mama was not into the political stuff but she did vote no for the liquor by the drink law many years ago. I think that was when every vote counted and now like today where one vote out of 10 is counted and the other 9 are not. Well, I will get off my soapbox for now. Please pray for our families, our schools and our Nation that we will turn this back into one Nation under God....indivisible with liberty and justice for all....
