Hope you all had great extended weekends. Leigh Centurions - TopicsExpress

Hope you all had great extended weekends. Leigh Centurions certainly did, breaking records to secure their 15th consecutive win against Sheffield Eagles in the Kingstone Press Championship. Centurions are now seven points clear at the top of the league, with a trip to Workington on Sunday their next test. Celebrations this Sunday were tempered, however, by the news that supporter Steven O’Dwyer fell ill during the game. Leigh Sports Village would like to extend our best wishes to his family and hope hes back supporting Centurions at LSV very soon. Swinton took to the lush new LSV pitch on Sunday for their game against Batley Bulldogs, but were beaten 33-18 and now sit second to bottom in the league. They have the chance to make amends at LSV this Sunday - although itll be a tough encounter against high-flying Doncaster. Ticket details at leighsportsvillage.co.uk
